Eating fruit after 3pm? LOL

I don't have a question or any suggestions here but I just heard the funniest thing from a co-worker. She told us that if you eat anything containing sugar, including fruit, after 3pm, it turns straight to sugar in your body therefore nothing but fat. I have never heard such ridiculousness. As if your body's digestion can tell that it's 3:01 or before.

Haha. That's funny. I had a coworker tell me yesterday that eating fruit causes early-onset diabetes. Guess it has NOTHING to do with being 100 lbs overweight, right?

I told her I eat a pc of fruit every night before bed or even *gasp* a real dessert. She told me I could and get away with it because my metabolism is just different. Ummm, ok

I disagree. I ate a watch, and I know that my intestines know what time it is now. It was a digital watch so they have no excuse that they cannot read roman numerals or don't know what the big hand or little hand means. And they set the alarm for midnight so they know when to switch from one day's calories to the next.

So fruits are like Gremlins.....wonder how that works. What if you're in a plane and you're crossing time zones while you're munching down on an apple?

One of my girlfriends said the most AMAZING thing to me the other day, reminds me of your co-worker…

She said that being a girl and eating more than 50 grams of protein a day is a terrible stupid and it's going to make me bigger…how does she know this? Well, because "she's a hygienist and being a hygienist is basically like being a doctor which basically means having gone to medical school"

I love her spunk but jesus christ, I could not stop laughing at her after that one.

Clearly, sugar is the red-headed stepchild of the gremlin that steals socks from the dryer.

If only it were that easy! I could avoid fruit after 3.. I think I'll try it. Right after I try the "Stop eating bread!" that I was told by one wanna-be-expert. I told him, "I eat one 40 calorie piece of bread a day." He came back with, "I don't care, stop eating bread! You'll lose weight." Yeah, ok.

What always gets me is when someone is eating a bunch of crap, has been complaining about being overweight for years, but is the main one giving weight loss tips.

Oh yes, I notice that too. There's a woman at my work who's always giving me weight-loss and health "tips" and yet she's looking heavier than ever. I want to tell her there are no tricks!

I just told her that I've lost 9.6 pounds since Jan 1st and that was with eating fruit or a real dessert after dinner every night. I think I will continue that way. lol

No, it's true - seriously, you guys. No fruit after 3 pm. Also, did you know if you shake your food before you eat it, most of the calories will sink to the bottom - only eat the top half and you won't gain weight....
