Losing Weight in the Feet?

Options
I've dropped about 10 lbs and I've noticed that the leather flaps(?) on my shoelace eyelets are nearly touching. Is it possible that I'm losing fat in my feet? Has anyone else experienced this?

I really like these shoes (sigh).

I've lost 80 lbs up to this point without noticing a difference, but in the last month or two, I swear none of my shoes fit me anymore. It's cool, but dang it, I have lots of awesome heels! lol

You loose fat from everywhere. My wedding band no linger fits. As well as some shoes. I love it.

    Keep it up!!!

Yes, I have dropped 33 pounds and all of my favorite leather shoes are loose in width and over the top of my foot. :-(

Yes, this certainly happens when a person loses a considerable amount of excess fat. Learn to laugh about "walking out of your shoes". When we're overweight, the excess lbs. are distributed everywhere in our bodies.

You're doing great~ keep it going

Yes, I've gone from a size 10 back to my 9 1/2 shoes and my wedding ring keeps slipping to the side. Our bodies lose fat in layers.

I've only lost about 20 pounds but in addition from going from a size 34 in pants to a size 26/28 I've gone from a size 11 shoe to a size 10. The tennis shoes I've just tied tighter and am still using them but I've had to say good bye to a lot of my favorite heels.

Congrads on seeing some the the benefits of weight loss.

Yes! My shoes are all MUCH more roomy than they were when I started. And, although some of that was puffiness from too much sodium in the beginning, I do really well with sodium now and notice my shoes getting continually more roomy the more weight I lose. That also makes sense because I was up 1.5 sizes at my heaviest weight compared to what I had been before I gained all the weight.
