I've goofed around nutritiondata.com, but which nut actually has the best fat profile and micronutrients? It seems that they all are not all that different but looking for insight.
I could eat pecans all day long as far as favorites go.

Cashews aren't nuts, they are seeds.0 -
It really just depends on what you are looking for in a nut. Here are a couple of refernces on the benefits of different nuts.

Most nuts are high in omega 6 fats. Our entire diet is dominated by omega 6 fats. Plus if they are roasted and salted I question their benefit.
The healthiest nut, imo, is also the one highest in fat: raw, unsalted macadamias. Lots of people consider them the worst because they are highest in fat ("fat is bad" has been drilled into our heads for far too long), but they have the BEST fat profile of all the nuts.0 -
Bad grammar, it should read "WHO are the most nutritious nuts."0

"Our" entire diet is dominated by omega 6 fats?? As if everyone eats the same diet?0 -
