I have successfully not had a donut today

Options
I think small successes should be celebrated.
Today I dodged donuts... then a muffin... then truffles...
How did I do it?
I made myself a tea instead :)

How do you do it?

If I have available calories, why not? I'm always up for some dessert. :)

Most days I can spare the calories for a donut or two, so I don't turn things like that away.

i'm glad that out of all the other "i can't avoid them" threads, a beacon of light pops up.

kudos OP. if you wanted to avoid them, and you did, good for you.

I agree with missylectro. Celebrate your success. It's tough dodging treats in an office. Keep it up!

I use sugar free bubble gum, sugar free candy and tea to keep awake and clear of treats.

Nice work!! :) I also resisted a donut today! I had a protein bar instead. I did however have one piece of pizza and one piece of cheese bread at a team lunch, but it fit into my daily calorie goal.

    Good for you.

My way of dealing so far have been to plan ahead. I don't bring cash, and I have a harder time using card to buy snacking food. I bring my own snacks, and I know that the days I've been good I get to eat ice cream for dessert!

    Nice work!!

What I do is I promise myself if I stay under calories today I can have whatever it is I want tomorrow, and plan it into my day. That way, I'm teaching myself to wait for it and not have immediate gratification, but I'm still allowing myself some delicious treats!

Self control is super important, just as important as doughnuts!
