A smallish apple is about 100 calories once you remove the core.

Yeah, thank you, but I'm not really looking for single food items. I've definitely eaten apples before. I'm looking for a bit of variety. I like trying new things.
Why is it the only person you respond to is to say uh, I don't like your suggestion I want a recipe? I have had an apple before.

I sauteed a bunch of kale and spinach with garlic and topped with a poached egg. Toast or crackers or somesuch would probably be good with that but I definitely didn't need it. (PS poaching eggs is super easy and takes about 5 minutes! try googling different methods.)

OK. NOT a recipe, but I SWEAR by it. Skinnypop Popcorn. 39 calories per cup, so one 4 cup serving is 156 yummy calories. It's the best bagged popcorn I ever ate.

    Now for a recipe:

1 Full sheet of Keebler Graham Cracker = 60 calories
1 Tbsp Krema Peanut butter 95 calories
    Total 155 calories

    Strawberry Smoothie
    1 cup frozen strawberries = 50 calories
    1/4 C lowfat vanilla yogurt approx 50
    1/2 C almond milk 30

    Total 130 calories

    Hope those help!

I usually have an 80 calorie multi grain english muffin with 45 calorie laughing cow cinnamon cream cheese.
Or Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt Strawberry Cheesecake flavor(80 cal) with 1 T chocolate chips (70 cal).
1 cup of strawberries with 2 table spoons of light cool whip and 1/2 T chocolate chips.
Something sweet but filling at the end of the day.

I like this healthy muffin. It works out about 120 calories. I add blueberries or raspberries to it.

These muffins are very good and you could use any flavor non fat yogurt-

Banana Muffins Number of servings 12

    Ingredients
    1 cup mashed Banana,
    1 cup All-purpose Flour
    1 Tbs Baking Powder
    1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/8 tsp seasalt or table salt
    1/4 cup Sugar (White Granulated)
1/4 cup Kroger - Lite Yogurt - Any flavor you want
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in one bowl and in another bowl beat together bananas, sugar, egg, and vanilla, stir in yogurt. Stir banana mixture into flour until just combined. Scoop into prepared muffin cups. Bake 15-20 mins at 350 degrees. They are best if when completely cooled, even better the next day and the day after that and the day after that.

Each muffin is 81 calories, .5 grams of fat

Once slice of awesome garlic toast (I eat this for a nighttime snack often!)

    1 slice 45 cal bread
    1/2 T butter
Garlic powder (however much you like)
    1 T parmesan cheese

Spread the butter on the bread, sprinkle with garlic powder, then parm cheese. Broil til the cheese melts. YUMMY!

Each serving is just over 100 calories. I usually eat two and cut them up into small pieces. :)

Easy Chopped Salad .........around 100 calories

    1 Stalk sliced celery*
    1/3 C shredded carrots
1/4 cup peas (I use frozen peas.....they thaw by lunchtime)

Stir in 2 Tbl Newman's Light Sesame Ginger dressing

*Can swap out celery for thawed french style green beans - just the right crunch (not regular cut frozen green beans...too much water).

    peanut butter fingers:

    take first two fingers
    place two fingers together
dip fingers in jar of peanut butter
    lick peanut butter off fingers

my kind of recipe. but i bet closer to 400 calories:)

I guess that would depend on the size of your fingers... :)

1 100 calorie English muffin split into 2 halves
1 wedge of Laughing Cow light Swiss cheese spread, spread between the 2 muffin halves
2-4 leaves of either spinach or basil, spread between 2 muffin halves
2 thick slices of tomatoes, 1 on each muffin
Salt, pepper, garlic seasoning, a dash of balsamic vinegar or light Italian dressing on top of tomato

Bake in oven until tomato cooks and muffin gets golden and crunchy.

150 calories, makes a great portion amount of food, and DELICIOUS! I eat this every day.
