I also like the myth about healthy food being more expensive than junk.

Yeah, because I was spending a lot of money eating from the garden I was raising.

Diet soda is healthier for you. Check the nutrition guide. I've never heard of someone losing weight, because they switched from regular soda to diet.

I actually lost 10lbs going to diet soda...

Checked my diet coke the other day only thing listed is 0.1g of protien...

    Eggs are good for you.
    Eggs are bad for you.
One egg (some say two) a day is fine.
The whites are better for you.
    The yolks are nutrient dense.
Be sure to cook the egg well.
The whites should be well done but the yolk runny.
    Don't worry about dietary cholesterol.
Some people are genetically sensitive to dietary cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia).

"Fruit and vegetable calories don't count." No! I understand the weight watchers setup, but fruit and vegetables most certainly have calories, and they do count.

    You can't choke on pudding.

Congratulations world, your i.q. dropped ten points from reading this.

This might have come up before:

Some foods have negative calories. Meaning you burn more calories eating them then they contain. Everything from celery to broccoli have this magical power to make you thinner the more you eat of them.

My cheerleading squad lived by this myth in high school. Ridiculous. We should have just eaten what we wanted, especially with all of the calories we were burning!

BBqing your food all the time will give you cancer.

This as a blanket statement isn't true, but charred food contains carcinogens which have been linked to cancer.

Coffee, tea, fizzy drinks aren't water and can not be counted as water.

What ? Isn't this true? I have read this before and been told this by so many people, I honestly thought it was true. I heard for every coffee, tea, fizzy drink you should have 2 cups of water to balance it out.
