Hello all,
As many of you have decided to lose weight the right way (no crash diets or gimmicks) I have made the same choice to change my lifestyle by simply eating in moderation and adding daily exercise to my routine. So far this is the EASIEST "diet" I have ever been on. For most of my teens and adult life I have been over weight and have tried everything from the cabbage soup diet to the master cleanse, and guess what here I am at 24 and still over weight. I decided to wise up and lose the weight by what I thought would be the "hard" way which is simple change of diet and adding exercise. So far I have lost 6 pounds in 14 days, and I am happy to say that I am in no rush to get to my goal weight. I want to lose it right this time and for good and if that means taking a year or more to do it then I'm in!
I am doing a 1200 calorie a day limit and exercising 3-5 times per week (running, spin class, yoga and swimming). I have to say swimming and spin class have really helped burn well over 400 calories per 45 minute session, and they have kept me from getting bored!
I am very excited to read all of your posts and share tips!
