I think I may have messed up..

I've been working out consistently now for 5 weeks. For the past 4 weeks I was doing 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week and alternating days of upper/lower body weight training 6 days a week.
This past week I have only been doing cardio twice a week for 50 minutes/session. I have also been trying to eat more. These two changes were in part to me not seeing any fat loss results for 4 weeks, so I figured I would try something different. I have been eating at a deficit; too much of a deficit, I guess.
It feels like I have gained a fair amount of muscle in my arms and legs (they feel much firmer) but I think I have lost too much body fat. I only just noticed today. It's strange. I fear I may have lost a lot of the muscle I worked to build as well because of the decrease in size overall of my legs and arms.
I'm really at a loss of what to do. I definitely look much smaller and that was exactly the opposite of what I wanted. I am trying to lose body fat while building muscle. Losing weight was the last thing I wanted! I am 5' 3", 106 pounds, and female. So you can understand why this is so troubling, because I am already small and I can't afford to lose weight. I messed up for sure..
I apologize if I sound too "new" or desperate, but I am so afraid I screwed up 5 weeks of hard work and went into the wrong direction. What should I do to change these results and get me the results I've been trying so badly for?
Thank you!

Your body doesn't turn on a dime like that, five weeks is nothing. Eat food, lift heavy, get rest, rinse and repeat for six months. You'll be fine.

I thought so but I just look much smaller and thinner than I did 5 weeks ago. I was worried about it but maybe it's in my head, even though I'm comparing myself to photos from then..
EDIT: Due to my height every pound of weight gained/lost is very easily noticeable on me, just putting that out there.
Thank you for the advice!0
