Running with phone?

How does everyone else run with their phone? Armbands slip down my arm, I am scared waist packs will bounce around and be too heavy, and I am desperately looking for shorts with a back pocket big enough for my new phone!
I found running pants last fall with a back pocket that fit my old phone perfectly, and they were a life saver. Now, I have a new, bigger phone, and it's getting too warm for pants (thank you, Texas). Does anyone know where to find shorts with back pockets that are not JUST for a key or one credit card and will fit a large phone?

Running with stuff in my pockets usually pulls my pants down, not so helpful.
I have a Nathan 5k running belt that I love, and it does not bounce at all.0 -
I have a flip belt. And for longer runs, where I carry water, I have a Nathan hand held water bottle that fits my phone.0

I stick mine in my bra.0

I have a hydration pack that I stick mine in.

I have a sports bra that has two layers of material in the front so I put my phone in between the layers. works great in winter and summer.0

Level flip belt. Amazing. I have 2 and use them for my 1/2 marathons, runs, or just around Disney park recently to hold just a phone and ID. (Then I put my hoodie through it so I wouldn't have to carry it.) The flip band you wont even know it is there!!!! Measurements for sizing run true also. Also better than arm band b/c it's easier to take out and change songs.0

What run with my phone? Never it is my only break from the nasty device. Family has learned to say...sorry not available he is out running. I leave it in the car with a voice response set to out running and solving world problems. Will not remember solution when I get back but I will feel better. Leave message and have a great day.0

I use an armband but I also have a Nathan's hydration belt that once you tighten it, it doesn't even move. My new balance running shorts have a pocket in the back that would fit my phone and it has a zipper but that would probably bounce more than the belt.0

I have a running belt that holds my water bottle and has a small zippered pouch that holds keys, ID and BB.... It sits in the small of my back does not bounce at all....0

I tried to stick it in my pants but it would pull them down... I tried my bra, but then it would fall out...
I have opted for a fanny pack.
Not the most stylish way to be ruling the sidewalks, but it works (:0 -
spibelt works perfect.0

I sick mine in the waist band clip thing and clip it to the back of my sports bra, but I'm guessing that won't work for you. :-)0

I put mine in my bra0

Here's MY vote.0 -
Another vote for level flip belt. It is seriously a GREAT product. I have an iPhone, so its a relatively large/heavy phone+case. Before that, if it wouldn't go in my pocket easily, I'd hold my phone in my hand.0

Spibelt - does not move at all. I forget I'm even wearing, you can also add drink holders, gels, etc..
I use the endurance series.

For short runs (6 miles or less) I just run with my phone in my hand, switching hands frequently. For longer runs, I use an armband that does a good job of staying in place for me. This is what I got: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D30TTOM/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You might want to try and see if this merchant has an armband that would fit your phone.0

I hold mine in my little right hand on my runs!0

I hope you never have an accident that requires a need for a phone. My running friend slipped and severely sprained his ankle on a run one day and had to call his wife to come pick him...without a phone, he'd have been stuck there for quite a while.
OP: I keep mine in a running belt...mine is super comfortable and doesn't bounce around at all.0 -

Dude! I NEED one of these!0 -
I carry it. Literally... I carry it in my hand. I use the Runtastic app and I like to see my distance, pace, etc. Occasionally I'll stick in my arm band.... you said yours slips down - mine used to slip also so I bought a smaller size.0

I have two waist packs: one for short runs when I don't need to carry water (perfectly fits my phone and if necessary, my car key - I usually run right from the house, so don't need to carry a key)....and one for longer runs that holds a water bottle (the pocket on this one is barely big enough for either my car key OR my key fob....so I bought an Amphipod phone pouch to hold my phone...it has a belt loop, so it just slides right on to my water bottle belt). Both are very secure and don't bounce around at all. :happy:0

For those of you that carry in your bra - be careful, I almost ruined a phone by doing that!! I was out walking/rhiking for a few hours down by the coast with my friends and just figured my bra was the easiest place to keep my phone. By the end of the hike, my screen was all spotty and it took several days to dry up and look right again. Went out and bought an arm band the next weekend.0

I have mine mostly for emergency purposes. I broke my wrist rollerblading on a trail by myself last summer and since then no way, no how do I do any outdoor exercise without that thing.0 -
I like the running belts. They don't bounce around and stretch enough to fit large phones. I also use a light jacket with zipper pockets so I don't have to worry about anything falling out. Not sure if that would work for you if it's getting warm though.0

I have to throw this out there for all of you putting your cell phones in your bra: http://www.snopes.com/medical/disease/cellphonebra.asp

I'm not telling you you can't, it's just my PSA. Thank you.0 -
I use a bum bag (fanny pack) that I wear it over one shoulder and across my chest.0

In my hand.
Same... I hold mine.0 -

Lifeproof that thing! I also keep mine in my bra. It's easy to access. Sometimes I set an alarm for how long I want to run and from there I can feel/hear the alarm go off.0
