You see, I only have about 10-15 pounds to lose so it's very difficult for me.

My calorie allowance is 1600 a day. I don't log in exercise because I use TDEE-20%. I eat a lot of chocolate, but its dark chocolate so slightly healthier lol. I'm still trying to cut down my sugar though. Sugar is and has always been my biggest problem.

I started out doing 1200 calories the first 5 months of my weight loss, but couldn't do it anymore. I usually do 1700-1900 calories, but just recently had surgery on my hand, so cannot do weight lifting right now, so just doing 1600-1800 calories, hopefully by mid March I will be back at it once I get the ok from the doctor!!

I would be a total b!tch if I only ate 1200 cals a day. It did not work for me. I listened to the "mean" people on here and started eating more. I felt better, had more motivation and it was still working.

I also did research on what my BMR, TDEE, etc. meant. My BMR is approx 1350/day and I never eat lower than that.

    Good luck :flowerforyou:

I walk on the treadmill on Random for an hour starting at 3 mph and ending at 3.5. Great calorie burn! For muscles I am doing The Betty Rocker 3-4 times a week.

Last summer I got to my lowest adult weight of 217 lbs.

Then shot up to 256 as of Jan 1, 2014.

256 was my restart weight and I was eating around 1310-1350. Now MFP has lowered my calories to 1250 due to my losing 10.5% of my weight. I swear there's no winning lol.

Originally (in Jan, at SW) it was set at ~1440 to lose 2lb/wk. In order to maintain that pace MFP dropped me to 1200 this week, but after a few days it became clear that was not working for my body. I have now changed to 1.5lbs/wk & my goal is 1370. Just this small increase has made a HUGE difference for me as I have much more energy!

Calories: Month of February I averaged 1556 per day and I didn't see much of a loss.

I hope to average more in the month of March. I want to start lifting more, eating more, and losing inches.

I started om 1/16/14 and MFP put me on 1200 per day. For the first few days I thought I was going to die being on 1200, but then I cut out soda and I realized how many calories I was wasting on it. After about a week I got used to the 1200 and now I'm usually under that. I have a full time desk job, and other than housework, playing with my daughter, etc., I don't really exercise much. I do 1 (maybe 2) workouts a week (no more than 30 mins each), and so far I've lost just over 9 pounds.

I do 1200 (ish) a day I've tried 1400 but that puts me into maintenance mode and the scale will not listen to me when I tell it to go down! I would love to eat more! Lol kinda envious of those of you who can eat!! That's with working out 60-90 min 5 days a week and working (running around) in a kitchen 5 days a week.
