It's impossible to lose 3-4 inches in 8 weeks right?
I want to see if I can squeeze into this one dress and I would need to go from a dress size 14 to a 13 which is a 34" waist and a 31" waist.
It's not possible is it?

It depends how many inches you have to lose in the first place. It'd be a stretch, though. No pun intended, ha.0

haha I have to lose 3-4 inches to fit into a 13 which is the biggest size it comes in0 -

If you're just looking to fit in a dress, can you get some Spanx? That might help you.
But I'm not sure if you can lose that many inches. I might be wrong, I'm no expert.0 -
It is absolutely possible, but it depends on the individual and where you lose weight first. Most women can lose one size in one to two months. One size is usually 10-15 pounds.
I have lost two inches from my waist in about two weeks, but only one from my hips.
Going from a 14 to a 13, you probably should be more concerned with the hip measurement rather than the waist. Odd numbered clothing sizes are proportioned differently, with narrower hips.0 -
I think it's possible but make sure the dress size is accurately a true 13. It's gonna be a b$@&! doing cardio and target training though. But 8 weeks should be doable and a lot more time then most people plan in advance.0

I lost 2 inches in 3 weeks around my gut but my gut is massive lol.0

I pulled out my measurement chart, I think mostly it depends on if you are heavy or close to your ideal weight.
August
Waist 35"
Hips 40"
October
Waist 33"
Hips 39"
December
Waist 30"
Hips 37 1/2"
February
Waist 30"
Hips 37 1/2"0 -

Most definitely give it a shot, but don't be disappointed if you don't reach it.

Diet safely and responsibly, buy some spanx and you may be able to do it. But it really comes down to many other factors, not just dieting or exercise, as it's impossible to spot reduce and the amount you'll lose isn't a guarantee, but with some spanx and a sensible diet, maybe you can get into it.0

I really think it depends on how much you have to lose. But that being said I don't think it's completely out of the question. 2 months is a decent amount of time. You will probably have to work your butt off though. I've lost over 10 inches around my waist in 6 months,0

Totally doable. An exercise routine like Pilates has always resulted in a slimmer waistline for me... Though I know some will say you can't spot reduce! But I think strengthening the core and improving posture must help somewhat.
Also don't eat too much that might make you bloat right before your event, like exess sodium, excess fiber, or even dairy for some people. Make sure you stay well hydrated all the time.0
