Need to loose those extra 10 pounds.

Hi everyone,

I am not very fat but I no longer fit in my old clothes. I have gained 20 pounds in last 2 years.
I now weigh 140 pounds and want to shed at least 10 pounds in 1 month.
Any tips on diet and exercise?

    Severely restrict your calories and you can probably lose 10 lb in a month, but it's highly likely you will regain it just as fast.

    You are already at a healthy weight. For sustainable fat loss that will stay off, aim to lose no more than 1lb per week.

    Overzealousness will lead those 10 you lose back plus maybe a little more. Why do you NEED to lose 10lbs in one month? What happens if it takes you 2 months to lose the 10lbs?

    Thanks Karen, I think it will be a good idea to lose the weight in a a healthy way, 1 lb per week sounds reasonable.
