The Beatles or Led Zeppelin. Those are the only two bands with the massive variety I would need.

My friend dumped a girl once for several reasons, but the nail in the coffin was when she said she hates The Beatles? Lol, what planet is she from? Who hates The Beatles? I thought that was pretty funny.

I'm with the OP and will have to say Green Day. Queen is a close second, followed by Metallica and AWOLNation.

Holy carp this is a tough one. My music moods swing so wildly from Thrash to Rock, to Classical, chill....hmmmm.

I think I'll go with Foo Fighters.

This is hard to answer. My personal fave of all time is Tool. BUT if I could only choose one band for the rest of my life, I'm going with Led Zep too for variety, volume, and epic-ness.

    Rancid.

ETA: If we get all of the individual side projects, this is an epic eternal playlist.

I couldn't listen to just one I would get bored out of my mind. Variety is the spice of life. My preference ranges from symphony music to hard rock and everything in between.

^^^ Couldn't have said it better...

Gotta be Seether for me all day long but close second is Disturbed and third is a mash up between Linkin Park and Godsmack. Being from the UK most people have only heard of Linkin Park :(
