Ab Workout

I am looking for the best workout for my ab/core area, just to do some toning. I have been looking at different equipment in the stores and different programs. I was just wondering what everyone else would recommend.

    Deadlifts...Squats...

    You can't spot reduce or spot "tone" though. Abs are all about body fat percentage.

    I too have been working on this area. I'm doing the 30 day plank challenge, so I'm hoping to see some results.

    You could do 10,000 planks a day but if you have fat on other parts of your body that your body wants for fuel, it will take from there.

    Moderate Caloric Deficit + Work (Cardio and Compound Strength) + Patience = Results.

    You can get there with 1 and 3, but would most likely be most satisfied if you incorporate all 3.

    As noted above, it's all about BF%. Squats, deadlifts, etc are great because they are full body moves that fire the core. You'll notice that many on here do little to no isolated ab work as the above exercises do work the core, and are much more efficient for burning calories (fat).
