You are what you eat... what?

This has some merit. I subsisted off of eating whole fat people. . . I turned into a fat person.

This was one at work one day...
Girl: Do you want an icy pole.
Me: No thanks...I already had a piece of cake.
Girl: But the icy pole has less calories and you mightn't burn off the calories from the cake today, but you will burn off the calories from the icy pole.
    Me:

    BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

You are what you eat... what?

except that you are what you eat, or at least the atoms that make you come from the atoms in the food you eat. scientists are currently researching the diets of hominins who lived millions of years ago, through molecular analysis of the fossils. That's only possible because you are what you eat.

The food pyramid is healthy. What a joke

the food pyramid is healthy for athletes and manual labourers and other highly active people. It advises too many servings of carbs for sedentary people. It was invented several decades ago when people were a lot more active.

eating after 6pm turns straight to fat

    drinking ice water burns fat

    cooking your vegetables causes cancer

adding fibre powder to food pushes it thru your body too fast for the calories to be absorbed

    all unsolicited "advice"

'Negative calorie' foods (cucumbers, celery, water melon. Please! :noway:

That if you eat after 8pm all your food magically turns to fat so no eating late! :noway:

Starvation mode, and quite instantly I might add. As in if you don't finish up those last 100 calories you body will immediately starve, your 'diet' is ruined and you might very well die.

You'll get cancer if you drink water from bottles sitting in your car for prolonged amounts of time.

There's sodium in diet drinks. I don't know if it's different in the UK to other countries but my pepsi max has 0 sodium, and other diet drinks I have less than 1%. I don't know if they changed the recipe at some point or what but it bugs me when people say it.

Also diet drinks will make you put on weight. Who knew it was the 0 cal soda and not the over indulgence of chips and cake that made me fat.

    :drinker:

My friend swears that if you order water at a restaurant, it cancels out the calories in the appetizer you're about to devour.
