    Supplements are not needed unless your diet lacks an important nutrient (e.g. B12 if you are vegan, etc). That said, in terms of general health fish oil capsules are good. A multivitamin is probably helpful too...but for the most part supplements are just expensive urine.

    The only supplements I take are a multivitamin and a magnesium supplement just to make sure I'm getting all my micronutrients. There aren't any supplements that make you lose weight, however. You have to do that the old fashioned way: counting calories.

    I am still in college so eating in the dining courts makes it pretty hard to hit the protein numbers I need. I am currently taking a multivitamin and cinnamon supplements to regulate my blood sugar throughout the day.

    I check my micronutrients every night on myfitnesspal and if I lack something then I might take a multivitamin. What I tend to take more regularly is Vitamin D and Calcium.
