I know this question has been asked before but here we go
How many lbs does a male need to lose in order to lose one inch of his waist?
I know there is not an absolute answer

Can't spot fat reduce.
Looks like you're already in good shape?
Are you trying to trim for a competition or anything special like that?0 -
I don't know if there is a rule of thumb, but 20lbs was good for an inch. Sadly, pants in odd numbers are hard to find. So I'm going for another inch.
A few months ago I had to drill another hold in my belt to keep my pants up.
You are my after picture. You can't lose any more.0 -
general rule of thumb - 5-10lbs/inch of waist circumference reduction.0

No idea. I started at a 40, and am at a 32 and lost 75ish lbs. So for me, around 9lbs per inch.0

It seems that I went from a 34 to a 33 with about 17 pounds. But everyone is going to be different.
