What would you do with a $100 bonus?
I'm getting a $100 bonus at work, and I'm wondering what to do with it. Should I pay a bill? Probably. Get myself a very much needed pair of sneakers? Save it for something bigger that I want (a bicycle)? Save it for when I think I may be going out of town for a week in January?
What would you do with it if you got $100 bonus?
(Considering all your Christmas gifts were purchased already.)

I'd buy new shoes! I love shoes and specially new workout shoes. I love the coushy feeling and the bright new tennis shoe look.0

i'd save it so i could buy something that i really wanted (like that damn rowing machine at D!cks Sporting Goods  grr lol)0

I'd stretch it out and make it last. Some new workout DVDs, workout clothes, maybe a new kettlebell. Just to give me more variety for working out at home since I spend so little on myself!
Congrats on the bonus!

I would save it also to get an XBOX 360/Kinect and Zumba game.:flowerforyou:0

If I just had $100 to spend any way that I wanted to.....gosh-it's been a long time for that, so I am not sure, lol!
I think that I would buy scrapbooking stuff, to be honest. I love to do that-and love all the tools they have, so I am sure it would get blown that way.0 -
Seeing as how I've lost and inch and a half or so off my waist...I'm in desperate need of new slacks for work. I put on my favorite pair today and they are pretty baggy now. I need a belt to hold them up.
Oh...and I'd probably buy a measuring tape. I need to stop guessing on how much I've lost.0 -
I just got a $400 bonus. I bought new shoes and paid bills with it. If the bills are caught up, then buy some shoes. Or you can buy some new Polysorb insoles for your shoes that will cost under $20.0

I'm getting a Christmas bonus too ($350 before tax) and I'm not sure what to do with it either. I'm not in any particular financial straits, so it doesn't have to go to bills or anything. I might pop it into my savings account for my new car fund (halfway to a down payment already!), or maybe go somewhere for a weekend with the boyfriend. I'd love a treadmill, but there's no room in my little apartment for one0

ha ha, you and me both!!0 -
If you are behind on bills put $50 towards bills and $50 on something else that you want maybe exercise related.0

Depends is there something you really want? I am saving up for a new icefishing toy.. ( fishfinder) so any found money has been going into the fund for that.0

Go for those sneekers - they will make your workout that much better!0

cool halloween costume!0

I'd go to the casino and turn that $100 into $5000

This might seem selfish, but I'd buy some games for my PS3, :P
Or,... I would give to charity, Salvation Army has been really good to me (job program) So I'd probably give it to them actually ^^ Games can wait0 -
I personally would put it towards a bill. As much as I would love to get a HR monitor or something to help with my fitness goals, I would feel guilty if I didnt pay on a bill! lol0

You guys are lucky.. All we got was some coupons off our next pruchase towards one of the companies products.. Whoopie!!
But if it were me I would definitely buy me something... even if it is small. The rest would go to a bill or pocket change.0 -

Ha. Not all of us get anything. The first year at my office there were bonuses (actually, just merit awards), but those have since stopped.
Anyway, congrats to you all that do get something for your hard work throughout the year!0 -
I got a bonus that was 10% of my annual salary. It was easy to figure out what to do with it. I gave it to my wife. She's the brains in this outfit. I'm just eye-candy.0

I put all "extra" money aside for future travel.0

The responsible adult in me (I know she is here somewhere); says the 50 bills / 50 personal is the way to go. However, I suspect if anyone is like me, there are those of us who do not buy things for ourselves. I'm there. I've been known to go +1 yr w/o buying any new clothes because the money could be spent better on the kids / house / misc etc. We are possibly getting a bonus this year. If we do, part will go towards back bills from Scott being on disability the last 3 months and then Christmas and myself ... a HRM that I have been wanting for months!0

Well I'm all caught up with finances, so I'd throw it in the bank and either use it towards the funds for my new car or next vacation!0

Well, it's wasn't a Christmas bonus, waitresses don't really get those haha. But it was a rewards type program at work that you can convert points into cash. I just chose to cash it in now instead of any other time of year.0 -
No bous for me at work but if I had an extra $100 to spend I'd book a session with my tattoo artist to get some more hours in on my full back piece. I only have about 15 hours into it now and am barely half way done. By summertime I want to show off a full back piece and be at my goal weight.0

I would give it to my mother.0

Amen! My wife is the CFO of the relationship. She definitely handles the budget matters.0 -

Check out my friend's parent's scrapbooking website: www.scrapbookingstory.com !
With that website plug finished...I'd either buy new sneakers (on clearance!) and treat myself to something I wouldn't usually get with the rest!0 -

I think that's what I may do. I love the sneakers I have now, and they were $35 at Marshalls (Asics, which are $100 at any other store!) so I may get those again. I have a list of things I want but always put off getting because other things were more of a priority. Pay my phone bill or get new perfume? Phone biiiiillll...:grumble:0 -
I would go on a romantic date with my hubby ! Got to have some fun too sometimes !0
