what pizza do you eat?

Make my own:
Crust - half whole wheat / half white
homemade pizza sauce
Gorgonzola cheese
chicken
honey
*Note: Pizza is overpriced here and you can't choose your own toppings - set menu selection only.
What sort of horrible place wouldn't let you choose your own toppings?
South Korea. Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, Domino plus all Korean branded places too. Nobody lets you "build" your own pizza. I showed my friend one of the pizza place's "build" your own pizza web app and he was shocked. Also, the same pizza would cost 2-3x here. That's if you can get past sweet potato crust or the usual corn and mayonnaise on top.

I only eat cruelty free pizza.
I make sure it's dead before I cook it. All the great taste, and no guilt0 -
Make my own.
Whole wheat flat bread.
Organic pizza sauce.
Onions caramelized in balsamic
Beacon, mushrooms & goat cheese!!!
Its amazing!!!0 -
The Papa Murphys deLite pizzas are wonderful. The Mediterranean Chicken with sun-dried tomatoes is to die for. One slice of a large pizza is around 180 calories, so its definitely easy to fit a few slices of that into your day! They make lots of other deLite pizzas too - pepperoni, chicken bacon artichoke, etc.0

I tried the Dominos gluten free pizza. It was 10" lower calories than the thin crust. I don't care about the gluten free part, I just found a way to fit more pizza into my calories for the day . It wasn't bad at all for a last minute decision. The drawback was the cost, good luck finding a deal on 10" pizzas
Add ham, bacon, chicken, some onion, pineapple, and green pepper and since I was wanting something different I had BBQ sauce for a bit sweeter taste.
The whole pizza was 990 calories or 165/slice.
If I plan for it, I eat a few slices of whatever I want and keep it to just those slices. The problem is I have to eventually finish off the pizza so I need to plan more than one day of pizza0 -
I know that making your own is a lot of work and some time so it's not always plausible. I love to make my own, but it's just not realistic sometimes. For those times, these are my favorite:
1. Stouffer's Lean Cuisine Deep Dish Margherita Pizza - 320 cal for a small pizza!
2. DiGiorno Harvest Wheat Thin Crispy Crust Supreme Pizza - about 250 cal per slice
3. Amy's Whole Wheat Crust Pizza Cheese & Pesto - I love the unique pesto idea! It's about 350 cal per slice, but it's packed with good-for-you stuff.0 -
Anyone have a good sauce to reccomend for homemade pizza? I've made it at home before, but the sauce is never wuite as good as delivery.0

If I want a slice I eat a slice and just fit it into my calories for the day.
I like to make my own using Ezekiel tortillas. They crisp up nice in the oven. I generally top it with tomato sauce, roasted red peppers, cheddar cheese, olives, red onions and sliced mushrooms.0 -
If I want real pizza, I work it into my day and eat low cal for my other meals. Otherwise I make my own using flatbread wraps with lots of veggies, or the other day I made an open faced omelet with pizza sauce and toppings which turned out amazingly good.0

We make our own here too. Just a normal crust, but we do use whole wheat flower. I look at the labels and pic a sauce that doesn't seem too bad, but they're all similar. Some mozzarella cheese and turkey pepperoni.
I just like to make it ourselves because we know what's in it and can measure it for accurate calorie count. Tastes great!0 -
We have a Salvatore's Pizzeria chain here in upstate NY...I always get the 'THIN THIN" pizza for myself with cheese and green peppers it is 630 calories for the whole thing...I love it so much that I don't even miss the crust!0

I make my own pizzas thin crust. Buy the crust mix, super easy, just mix it with water. Buy the sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and pineapple, and you can have half the pizza for around 600 calories0

Pita bread or cauliflower crust + tomato sauce + mozz, feta, goat cheese + artichokes, olives, chicken breast0

Well when I am low carbing I do Meatza pizza and I love it...
When I am not I still do either an Ezekiel tortilla or a low carb wheat tortilla and top it... Luckily for me I don't really care for pizza sauce so I unusually do sugar free BBQ sauce with diced chicken and purple onion and fresh cilantro and a small bit of pineapple with low fat cheddar cheese0 -
I eat whatever pizza I want, pretty much. The amount I eat depends on my calorie allowance. As a matter of fact, I had pizza for breakfast.
Edited for spelling0 -
Pizza really is not THAT bad. Not a reason to feel guilty for sure. Gotta save guilt for something bad, like lying!
I like to eat all the pizzas. Just log it and MAKE it fit into your macros!
This...I make homemade pizza...homemade crust load it with lean beef, bacon, sausage, pepperoni, salami, cheese, mushrooms etc and eat it and feel no guilt...why because it fits.0 -
We make our own pizza at home with whole wheat dough. It tastes good...........and my kids like it too, which is a bonus.0

My husband makes yummy homemade whole wheat crust and sauce from Hunt's no salt added (he puts in wine and loads of spices, and usually simmers it with chopped veggies). He tops it with loads of veggies and less cheese than I probably would...and it's still SO incredibly good!!!
We never get Dominos or Pizza Hut anymore because it just tastes like a bunch of salt to us. Once in awhile though we have to go to Tulsa and eat Hideaway Pizza, simply because it is glorious.0
