    Yup.....my great-grandmother was one of the few from 3rd class to survive. She and her infant son (my great uncle) were rescued by the Carpathia, and my grandmother was born in Norfolk, Virginia the following year. My family's one small claim to fame.....

    WOW! What a great thing to have in your family history! I loved that movie. Every time I watch it I cry at the end when they show the babies in the water. That is truly amazing!
