as coffee0

I log it as coffee, I also log unsweetened tea as well. This way I can monitor my caffeine as well.0
-
I do not log it, I drink 2 pots a day
No creamer no sugar, just black0 -
1 coffee. 2 coffee. 3 coffee....3
-
I log it as coffee with 2 calories per 8 ounces and I also count it towards my water intake.0
-
as coffee without shugar or milk - count as water and some coffein0
-
As coffee. I notice 3 cups has about 6 calories, at least the one I select from the database does.0
-
I only log the creamer that I add, coffee has so little calories itself, I don't worry about it.2
-
I've started logging it because it has a few calories, even black--only about 2-3 cup, though. You could track it with water as well. I just don't track my water because that's one thing I don't have an issue with.0
-
Usually I dont log it at all, however, I just recently logged Folger's columbian roast. It had 20 calories for 6 oz brewed (if I remember correctly). A whole pot of coffee could mean like.....hundred calories depending on pot size. That adds up. I usually have 3 or 4 cups of coffee in a mug so I is probably more than 6 ozs a drink.0

I guess I need to redefine my question... Do you count coffee as positive water intake, neutral, or negative since it is a diuretic?0
-
1 coffee. 2 coffee. 3 coffee....
This made my day. I don't log coffee or tea unless I put something into it as I typically drink both black. I maybe will have 1-2 max per day of either (not both) and it's not a daily thing for me.0 -
I drink it weird (large iced coffee with one cream and one sugar) and always the same, so I created a recipe for it with the 3 ingredients so I know it's somewhat right:
Large black iced coffee
1 tbsp. light cream
1 tbsp. table sugar
and just choose that recipe when I log it.
Edit: and I only count actual water consumed as water.0 -
I log it as coffee, not as water. I only log water/sparkling water as water. :P0

I log it, but I don't count it towards my water intake. So I guess in that sense, it would be "neutral". To me, coffee is separate from any water I might drink.0 -
One bean at a time!0
-
I log it just like any other food or beverage I consume.
I log pizza as pizza, lima beans as lima beans and coffee as coffee.0 -
I log coffee as coffee. (Tim Horton's extra large regular)
Coffee isn't water, water is water.
Mind you, I don't track my water intake at all.0 -
I don't log anything caffeinated as water, just my preference. My work uses a kcup machine so I log how many I have each day. Been using monk fruit to sweeten (0 calorie natural sweetener) after drinking it black for some months. Monkfruit does not have the weird aftertaste I get from stevia or erythritol.0

I don't log the coffee, I just log the light cream I put in it. Example: 1 tbsp of light 5% cream = 15 cals. I figure coffee is pretty much zero calories (or 1 or 2) so I don't bother. If you drink your coffee black, then it's not necessary unless you want to keep track of the amount of caffeine you drink in a day. Hope this helps.0

Neutral. I only count the creamer I add and nothing else. I don't worry about water much because I eat a lot of fruit and veg, drink water, etc. I don't count tea or any sugar free drinks (which are far and few), either. But my cal count is pretty high and I'm usually a bit under. If I had a very restrictive calorie count, I may consider it if I was having issues. Although, I still don't really see the point because the cals are so low.0

Nectresse! I've recently tried it and really like it. Stevia always leaves a funky taste in coffee/tea. The blend is ok in tea. But I'm digging the new monkfruit option.0 -
Far as I know, you can count it as positive if it's caffeine free. Otherwise, regular coffee or tea cannot be counted as part of your water intake.1
-
I don't log it. If I put cream it in - I log that.
I also don't log water. I've kept track in the past and don't have any trouble drinking recommended amounts with no thought or planning so I just don't bother with it now.0 -
As coffee. Water should be water, not water with caffeine added. Your body treats coffee differently than water. For one thing, water is hydrating, coffee is a diuretic.1

Log it as coffe. If you drink a lot, it adds up.0

1 coffee. 2 coffee. 3 coffee....
This.
But in all seriousness, coffee has 0 calories so you don't have to count it. Unless of course you add sugar. Sugar is a form of carbohydrate. And as we all know, carbohydrates have 4 calories per gram.0 -
I log it just like any other food or beverage I consume.
I log pizza as pizza, lima beans as lima beans and coffee as coffee.

I log coffee as coffee. The only thing I count as water is my actual water.0
