people who jog in place

Ok so im fairly new to this. But im looking for people who mainly jog in place. If so does it work? And or doing a 6 inch aerobic step. Without a routine. I also have wii fit plus but im starting to get skeptical on it's effectiveness. I do know joggong in place for me makes me sweat and get pumped so does doing steps on ciderblocks in my backyard. But I would like to hear some success on either. I dont have the money to buy any equipment or dvds.

You could try youtube for thousands of exercises that don't need equipment and are all free. Leslie Sansone does a walking video that gets you working quite hard. Also Fitness Blender does lots of exercises. I think 30DS is on there too.0

anything you do as far as fitness works, as little as 10 minutes a day to start, provided you are minimizing the 'bad' calories. Keep track of your saturated fat count daily n weekly. Keep track of your 'bad carbs' count daily n weekly. Mind your protein. just stay active. i do alot of power walking in place and lose something almost daily. if it were not for my ms i would lose more. instead of sitting n watching a tv show or movie in your home, stand n power walk in place. mix it up with jump rope n believe it or not wii fit super hula hoop, and yes it works. my wife n kids even join me at times. money spent: less than $20. you definitely don't need a gym or anymore equipment. good luck.

I usually jog in place at night while catching up on a TV show or movie after my daughter goes down for the night. Helps get my daily steps in versus just sitting on the couch. I love it! But I also pair it with fitness videos either available through my cable provider or videos on YouTube like 30 Day Shred, kickboxing, etc.
Try it and see if it works for you. But there are other things you can do that don't cost money. You can even turn household items into workout equipment, like laundry detergent for weights.0 -

I do about 40 minutes a day of the step aerobics on wii fit plus and it is completely changing my body shape.... I actually have a waist now and my legs are toning and my butt lifting... I love it.0
