RICE?

So guys i am on 40/40/20 Diet on 1600cal as sugested by DAN

so i eat 160carbs 160protiens & 35fat

I eat A LOT OF CHICKEN, almost half a kg BONELESS a day, so it ocvers protien and fat...

but for carbs i only eat ROTI's wich with chicken cover up till 80gm

wich is almost 1200-1300 cal at this point

so i was wonderin that should i eat 100gm(uncooked) of rice? wich consist 80gm of carbs?

will it be good? considering that i want to get muscles and lose fat and also do strength trainin?

as i hav really less options for carbs...

    Rice with fine. I did it eat it (and still do on maintance) while I was losing weight.

    Its not that i want to eat...i dont ahv any other source of carbs....

    i am thinkin to continue my current diet...wich i had today...is that good?

    Rice is fine but it shouldn't be making up all of your carb intake.

    Rice is fine but it shouldn't be making up all of your carb intake.
    It's also difficult to hit all of our micronutrients when we put all our eggs in 1 basket.

    There was a time when he gave out very good advice and many people followed his road map. Unfortunately, then something changed.

    You might want to revisit your maths there too ....

    at 40/40/20 .... if fat is 35g, then C and P would be 70g

    or are you eating 160/160/80 ??

    Percentages and they are of total calories, so yea, 160/160/80 doesn't work . . .

    1g fat = 9cal so 35g = 320cal.... :/ that is 20% of 1600..

    i dont mind stuckin to this diet for a litlle while i.e. a month or 2....coz i love chicken and if i m gettin all nutrients i need then y not, till i lose fat and gain muscle?
