gym work out

This week I have started going to the gym in the mornings before work. I have noticed that I am hungrier than usual since doing this and wanting certain foods.Anyone know if this is normal?

    I am always more hungry when i work out. I think a lot of people are. I guess because we're burning all those calories and need more for energy. And i often crave bad food. (Sweets, etc.)

    Totally normal. I eat like a mad woman on the days I work out. Try eating a bigger breakfast and getting protein into your system right after you work out. That should help. :D

    Thanks. I have been eating more breakfast than usual and it usually consists of bacon and eggs.

    Hey - just a thought - check out the new diet book "The Big Breakfast Diet." People like Eva Mendes are cool w/it and my husband and I are getting on that train. It's not really a diet-diet, if you know what I mean...but it's great and might solve some issues with cravings and feeling more hungry during the morning/workouts...
