Hello everyone! Sorry to start this thread a day late but I was super busy at work yesterday and didn't get a chance to log in at work.

Well you have stumped me. So far my list is a kitchen scale (for weighing certain foods) and a dvd player (so I can exercise in the bedroom and I don't bother my man watching TV). I'll have to think about this one!0

Hard to think of one thing, but if I had to choose, I would say a bracelet. I love bracelets! That is so materialistic of me, yes I know! Thats what gifts are for, right?? How is everyone doing? I am ok, I wish I was doing better. Got a glimpse of myself in the mirror and just hated what I saw. I got all down in the dumps after that. Why does that happen? For some reason it just annoys me and does not motivate me. I have to get more serious about this. I find every excuse in the book to eat what I shouldn't. Ok, enough of my complaining!0

Where is everyone? Hope you are all doing ok! I know it is a very busy time for everybody. I have been trying hard to do what I am supposed to be doing. I'm not always so successful with that! Seems there is always something fun going on and I just haven't figured out how to deal with all that!! Too much good food. Baby steps, I guess. Happy Monday to you all!0

Oh gosh ... Life has been getting in the way of everything lately! I'm still doing OK with my eating and weight, just haven't been able to get on the website as much.

Been working a lot! I actually have been behaving myself, too! I have a lot of dinners, parties, etc. (just like everyone else) coming up and I would love to know how you all handle it. One night I feel like drinking, one night I feel like eating....I am having a tough time with it. I am trying to be really good on the days when I don't have a special event. But somehow that doesn't seem right, either! I hope everyone is doing ok, and just busy.....be well!!0

Plateauing a bit this month so far, noticed my water intake dropping too, so need to get things back on track. Drinking enough water has always been a major challenge for me, but I am going to (as per another thread's suggestion) challenge myself to drink 1 bottle before lunch, 1 in the afternoon and one in the evening as a starting point, then 'up' it from there0 -
Hope you are all doing ok! So quiet around here these days. We are all so busy, hopefully with all good things!
Very difficult sticking to a good eating plan now. There is always a reason to eat something we shouldn't. I try to behave myself when I am home and on my usual routine. I need to drink more water also. Been exercising ok so I'm glad about that. Not as much as I should be doing, but enough given the fact I am working so much.

Good morning everyone.
You're right, it is quiet in here lately, lol, so maybe I can help get the week started with my update.
Excited - had a fun weekend out and about with my wife, did quite a lot of walking and today I saw my BMI has now dropped from the obese side down to the overweight side. Of course not where I want to be ultimately, but it's a major step in the right direction

Walking is always good. It counts as exercise but doesn't really feel like it! I love those kinds of short cuts. Sometimes I wear the pedometer when I walk around that way and it amazes me how many calories can be burned. It all counts, right?
So far I've had a good day...food and exercise all working out for me. One day at a time....0 -

Hi there, I'm still here. I've been pretty mad at myself. I was tempted to just crawl in bed and cover up and just pretend this didn't happen ... but I've got to face it if I want to deal with it. I'm up "7lbs" this week. SERIOUSLY??? :sad: SEVEN POUNDS IN ONE WEEK!!! Now that is falling off the wagon.
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I sure did. I totally enjoyed my family being here. Now … back to reality.0 -
