Breakfast Ideas...picky

Yes I'm picky... Sighhhh desperately need some breakfast ideas. I don't like eggs or grapefruit. So far I've been doing apples and oranges. Thought about bagel n skinny cow cream cheese but that seems like a lot of calories.

Lately I have been doing fruit and some nuts, or string cheese and fruit (this one keeps me under 200 calories for that meal). I have also done oatmeal with brown sugar and nuts (this is around 350 but SUPER yummy!).

I have never enjoyed breakfast and what I did like were carb nightmares (hash browns and white toast lol). I now have a smoothie for breakfast. I have found I love them. I have bought more fresh pineapple in the past month than in my past 44 years! I love using the frozen berries because it makes it thicker and seems more substantial. As a vegetarian, I throw in a scoop of protein powder and it's really, really good. A friend who is a nutritionist told me to use coconut water in addition to my ice so that's what I use. Honestly, it's easy and portable :)

I generally have breakfasts around 400 and 500 cAlories, which might be too high but my breakfasts are:

3 oz grilled chicken chopped in an 1-egg 3-egg white omelette, with olives or spinach in a tortilla, with toasted coconut almonds, just to get something sweet but still filling

A large salad with 50 grams of kale, 100 grams tabouli (vulgar wheat salad), 60 grams chick peas, 55 grams of feta cheese with veggie patch falafel and grapes or Clementines

2 oz hummus, three falafel balls, kale on a whole wheat wrap

if I need something quick, I mix an ounce of almonds in Greek yogurt, or have pre-hard boiled eggs with salt and pepper.

    Or left overs from dinner.

Or baklava or some other pastry If I'm craving something sweet

Toast with peanut butter & a piece of fruit (I like to slice banana onto my peanut butter toast!).

Oatmeal with Greek yogurt, fruit & cinnamon (I also like honey & walnuts on mine). Frozen blueberries are great, or sliced banana, chopped apples, sliced strawberries, peaches in summer (I can't wait for summer peaches!), or good old raisins if you don't have any fresh or frozen fruits.

Overnight oats are a quick grab in the morning if you're in a hurry: http://thelemonbowl.com/2013/08/overnight-refrigerator-oats-with-fruit-and-honey-mitten-moms-conference-recap.html

I like to have plain Greek yogurt with either blueberries or strawberries. Sometimes I add almonds.
And on weekends I also have either chicken sausage or bacon.
Finally, sometimes I'll have some Fiber One as well (separate, not mixed in with the yogurt, but that might be good, too).
