Vinegar?

My doctor told me he had success of losing weight by drinking 1 T of vinegar in water every day.... Anyone else heard of this?

    I've heard that about apple cider vinegar, but never tried it... Losing 3-4 lbs a week usually just counting calories.

    I've heard the same but never tried it. I've seen my mom do it but after a while she quit. I never saw a difference. But bathing a dog in vinegar before using their normal shampoo makes them stink less.

    OP - if your doctor told you that drinking vinegar was going to cause you to lose weight you need to find a new doctor. That is a fad, and it doesn't work. What works is hard work and dedication. Being accountable for what you put into your mouth and making sure to get out there and move. :)

    Never heard of that. I do drink 10ml of cider vinegar in the morning (when I remember) but that is for joint care. 10ml registers as 1 calorie, so no real harm to my allowance. I also use the vinegar for washing my hair as I'm in a hard water area.

    I believe him! I'm doing the same thing except instead of vinegar I went with fats, protein and carbs, and instead of 1 tbsp I went with my macro goals. :wink:

    I use vinegar to clean my coffeepot and get excess color out of my hair after I dye it, so I guess if you have coffee stains or hair dye built up in your system... Nah, even then, still no. I've heard of it but never seen it work for weight loss.

    Dinking a large glass of water bfore breakfast will likely make you eat less food hnce lose weight.
