You're eating too much, men can eat less when loosing weight. Id say 1400-1600 cals.
I'm confused? It's clearly a female, and how can you know she's eating too much if her diary isn't open. she might be netting something like 1600 but eating a total of 2000-2500 calories a day & burning 500-1000 in exercise.
I sometimes eat more than 2000 calories per day, netting around 1500-1600 a day after accounting for exercise.0 -

I'm on maintenance and I eat 1700 PLUS exercise calories. (Usually somewhere around 1900-2000 a day with exercise.) When I was losing, I ate about 1350 - 1400 PLUS exercise calories.0

1340 though I should probably go up since I'm probably not sedentary (I work with 2-year olds), but I'm not hungry today and I still have to eat 833 calories before I go to bed in about 5 hours. Just started this tracking thing and I figure I'll give this calorie daily goal a couple weeks to see how it feels on average.
So yeah, 1340.0 -
I average about 1500 calories. It depends on the day though. Sometimes I'm just really hungry I will eat 1800-2000 calories. I don't always eat back my calories but I do try to net at least 1200 most days. SW: 242.2 CW: 217.6 GW: 153-ish. Gotta find what works for you and ignore the nay-sayers0

Net 1800 to lose0

Right around 1500 with a concentration on low fat.0

I eat between 1500/ 1850 a day right now, as its varies because I'm having trouble getting enough fat in so I'm playing around with things to see what will work best for me.

Gw ? Wherever I end up , as I'm no longer using my weight as a goal but rather a body type/look that I'm working towards0 -

And you would know this how exactly? Do you know what the OP's activity level is? You do realize that someone with a higher activity level is going to be able to lose on far more calories than someone with less activity right? No, probably not...thus the blanket, your a chick so you should eat like a birdie statement.
OP, I'm training for an endurance event right now so I generally eat around 3000 (3500 calories on long ride days) to maintain and 2500 or so to lose (3,000 minimum on long ride days). My floor is 2300 calories...that's my bare minimum for a rest day, but I'm usually closer to 2500. Note that I'm not actively trying to drop a bunch of weight...I'm trying to dump a couple points in BF while providing my body with enough energy and nutrients to rock my training and properly recover.
With just my normal activity outside of this kind of training I generally eat around 2700 or so to maintain and around 2200 - 2300 to lose.0 -

You can't possibly know that. I am eating 2000 or more per day and exercising 4-5 times per week. I am easily losing about a pound or a little more per week on average.0
