Hello from a first time dieter

Middle age has finally caught up with me and settled around my middle. For the first time in my life I'm trying to lose a few pounds by watching what I eat. Joining myfitnesspal has been a real eyeopener to how many calories I normally consume each day.

    it is very surprising how many calories that are in foods, but keeping an eye on what you eat is a grate way in losing weight

    Right there with you Christin. Logging food makes a huge difference for me because I feel so much more in control.
