Definitely have to be kind to yourself and give yourself plenty of healing time after your surgery. So sorry that you have to go through this but sounds like you have a good surgeon.

There's nothing like the understanding when someone else has gone through the same thing. Helps you not feel alone and they can tell you what's normal as you go along this path. I'm sure you will do fine, being in good shape from exercising will help a lot with the recovery. So glad the prognosis is a positive one.
Ejourneys - I am glad to hear that you have found a surgeon that you like and are already scheduled to do the surgery. I know that this is not an easy thing to go through and you will have to take it one step at a time. Stay positive. I am glad that the prognosis is good and you will be ok.
