Hey fellow fitness pals,
I'm looking to get clarification on a few things
To start of well I'm 19 yrs old, 127 lbs 5 ft 7 and I'm skinny fat!
By that I mean I just have a little belly a flab tire if you may that I'm trying to get rid of.
I decided to cut and get rid of it and establish a good frame before bulking and I'm totally focused on my goal..which is to gain a flat stomach probably by May.
That being said..my current diet consist of around 30 % protien 20 % fat and 50% carbs. Currently consuming 2000 calories a day
My question is should I go low on carbs? I understand I would have to substitute it with either fat or protien though.
Iv read that my body won't burn fat if I keep my carb intake high as it would only use carbs for energy..so In that case how am I suppose to loose this belly!
That's pretty much my concern now.
And yes I do lift weights..I workout 6 days a week for about an hour that includes mostly strength training.
I'm not doing any cardio though.
Any suggestions would really help! Thanks

Try your plan for a few weeks and see if it works. If not try dropping the carbs about 5% and upping fat or protein. Much of this is experimenting to see what works for you.0

Abs always come through on me when my diet remains fairly clean.0
