Help :)

So I started doing crossfit style workouts about a year ago. I have went from 145 to about 170 pounds. Majority of muscle for sure, my body looks way better. My waist is still about the same right around 29" my hips, butt, and thighs have gotten the majority of the gain. However I want to loose what fat I do have without losing the muscle I've gained. I am female lol and 5'7" Sooooo go lol

How many calories did you eat on average while you gained? Did you take measurements or track your body fat%

If you haven't, calculate your bf%. And start tracking that. While you cut fat weight, you'll want to make sure to not lose the lean muscle mass you've built.

I eat between 1800 and 2200 calories most days. I have not done body fat percentage. ... and that's my question ho to keep the muscle and lose the excess weight :)

To keep the muscle, but lose the fat, you lift weights, get enough protein, and eat at a slight deficit. Every day.

Do you know your BMR and/or TDEE?

If your calculations are correct, then carefully monitor you food intake and exercise, while eating 250-500 calories less than your TDEE every day, while lifting weights and eating at least 80 g of protein every day. Do that every day for a couple months.

But before you start, take measurements. Figure out your body fat%.

Then after a couple months, reassess.

Thanks... I'll give it a whirl lol not sure how to do body fat accurately though. Yes 25 pounds in over a year. It's been about 15 months. Like I said the majority is in my lower body... insane went from a size 4/6 in pants to a 8/10 but like I said everything looks better, tighter so I don't want to stop. Oh and I do weights, alot of weighted squats, lunges, thrusters, benches, kettle bells, curls.... and so on
