I've been looking at a HRM , but i wasn't to sure whether or not that show calories burnt. How does one track calories burnt if non of my devices have a tool to tell me?

the most accurate thing is a HRM and they can be off 20%.. Apparently the Polar P7 is excellent for pretty cheap. I searched out online calculators for the walking i do (walking and Running are the easiest to come up with a generic calculation because of the consistent variables. I use the same for cycling but I think cycling needs a whole other thing (Power meters etc) to be accurate. I just take the calculators with a big grain of salt and enter them at 25 % less right off the bat and still only eat back a portion. Cardio burns more than Strength Training.

Fitbits will interface with MFP and are also good apparently)
