I need some ideas for healthy food ideas for lunch, and even breakfast! I think I have indulged in way too much sugar with fruits, so I am trying to cut back a lot of that. I used to eat plain greek yogurt, an apple, grapes and strawberries for lunch, along with a banana at breakfast, so I am trying to cut that out and opt for one or two fruits a day, keeping my sugar levels low, or at least stable. However I need some help with healthy food options for lunch and breakfast.
Any ideas??? I am wanting to lose weight so any healthy ideas are all welcomed!

I'd add some protein--chicken, eggs, quinoa, edamame, etc, etc...0

What do you like? You can have salad for breakfast and pancakes for supper. If you want more caloric bang for your limited wallet then liege tables are the way to go. Mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, collard, kale, sweet potatoes, spinach, you get the idea. Add protein and follow your desire to satisfy what sounds good regardless of what the clock says.0

It's ok to eat fruit! The apples & berries especially since they are higher in fiber.0

I like an egg salad sandwich or tuna sandwich. I also eat vegetables and greek yogurt french onion dip.0

I choose to base every meal around a protein, then add some carbs and fats. That has been the strategy that has worked best for me.0

I like to eat more filing foods with protein and/or fiber in the mornings and for lunches. Eggs or egg beaters are great and you can add in some good carbs like vegies to them and even some ham or some other meat if you like. I like oatmeal for sure. you can add in flavor by adding cinnamon to them. sometimes I have a egg and vegie breakfast burrito if I feel like having extra carbs for a workout or whatever.
Lunches can be anything like canned tuna with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, etc so its like a salad. Sometimes I have a black bean salad. or black bean lettuce wrap. Chicken breast is good too. or some lean steak or fish. you can have a 100% whole wheat bread and deli lunchmeat sandwich with some avocado and maybe some lettuce and tomatoe. really I just eat what I like. you can have oatmeal and a greek yogurt with fruit for lunch or breakfast. then you get some fiber, carbs, good sugars, and protein all in one meal. those are just some of the things I eat. I try to aim for more protein and fiber in my meals so I can stay fuller longer. Hope this helps.0 -
Hi Guys!
I am 16 and 150 pounds. I've been on a long weightless journey for about 4 years, and I've hit my lowest weight since (yay!). But recently, I feel like I haven't been eating as good as I should. I play lacrosse so we have practices every day (which includes running) but I don't really do anything on the weekends and I don't have access to a gym (I have an elliptical at home, though). Any suggestions for healthy snacks/dinner ideas that will keep me full and energized? Also, I REALLY need help with drinking enough water. Any tips?0
