eating before bed

I save some of my calories for around 8 oclock, i have special k cereal at this time, i go to sleep about 2 hours later however i am sedetary from 6 oclock onwards, will eating this at this time make me gain weight or is it bad for me? Opinions

    Meal timing is personal preference.
    Calorie surplus=weight gain

    Nope. Don't worry about when you're eating. Do what keeps you satisfied, and eat less calories then your body burns. That will lead to weight loss.
