Pastry
1 cup whole meal Flour
2 tbsp. margarine
water to mix approx. 15 tbsp.
1 cup plain flour
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Method
Mix all pastry ingredient's in food processor.
Roll out and line a lightly greased quiche/pie dish

Filling
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
1 onion, finely chopped and sautéed
1 can creamed corn
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
shake of garlic powder
1 can asparagus

Method
Mix all together and pour into pastry-lined quiche dish.
Bake at 220c - 428f until golden.

I substituted the margarine for a lactose free alternative.
and am sure there would be other filling combinations that would
be just as tasty and healthy ...
I didn't use the salt

I'm unsure of how to work out the serving size and calories per serve sorry ...

    Thank you Jamilt,

It's very tasty and I'm sure could be eaten hot or cold,
and the pastry could be used for other recipes :)
