Men - Where do you get nice casual dress shirts from?

Odd question coming from a girl but I still owe my brother a Christmas gift (haven't visited since before then). He really needs dress shirts to go out in (like clubbing, etc). Think sort of "bro style" but not t-shirts, I'd love to get him something like a volcom shirt. He should wear a 3x but usually buys himself 2x. Where is a good place to go? I've check major retailers (target, macys, jcpenny, kohls, etc) and haven't found anything I like. Any tips? Thanks!

If you're looking for something really fancy, I got this at Walmart:

Express - Most often from the "Last Year Line" in the discount section. You can get quite a few for less than 100 bucks and even moreso if you sign up for a credit card (just once) to get a nice % off discount added on top.

Gift card. If he's into Volcom stuff, I'd say Zumiez, PacSun, Buckle, etc. In my experience, girls shouldn't buy guys clothing.

    From my personal shopper.
  • Most men's clothing is hideous by comparison. I usually find good stuff at the Van Huesen outlet near me. They always have great deals like buy 1-get 2.

Believe it or not, I find some really nice stuff at Marshall's if you have one near you.

Goodwill, Salvation Army, and other local thrift stores. No joke.

All of the dress shirts in my closet are major label and I think I've never paid more than $5 for a shirt. I'm shocked sometimes at the stuff people just give away, and I'm happy to support the local thrift stores.

My wife and I are pretty aggressive with our retirement planning, and we prefer to take nice vacations and drive nice cars vs. dropping mad coin at Macy's or whatever. We clip coupons every Sunday too.

If it weren't for needing a 2x, I'd say this..

Big & tall seems to provide isues (this coming from a 3XLT)

I usually go to JC Penny's, Belk or Casual Male Big & Tall

My primary go to are Van Heusen and Haggar (There's a Van Heusen outlet near me :) )

Lately, though, I've really liked my Clairborne shirts (and slacks).

Any of those will work fine.

Check out ww.exoshop.com I've had them send me stuff to the UK and even NZ when I was down there. Good service and range of what I think you are looking for. I could well be wrong though.

    Goodwill

Since I've gone from XXL, to XL, to L, and now to M shirts, I've had to embrace Goodwill, and I am glad I did.

A lot of the stuff there is brand new or hardly worn and I get really nice shirts there for $2 to $5. It's amazing. I've got like 40 awesome size Large shirts in my closet that I probably paid a combined 150 dollars for.

Unfortunately I discovered this week I am not a Medium...which I never thought would happen. So...looks like more trips to Goodwill.
