I weighed 199 pounds on January 6th. I now weigh 178 pounds. Still a way to go but getting there! Anyone else just want to tell someone too?

Well fitness pal is great as a guide to keep me on track. I have not actually cut out any food that I fancy so I don't feel deprived, just cut portions and use fitness pal to help me track calories and to make me more aware of the impact of any food choices I make. Good luck and let us know how you get on0

I wanted to tell someone as soon as I made it through the first 48 hrs! Lol.
I've actually lost 16lbs, but mfp shows 7 because I lost some before I started. I have a long way to go,
but I'm like you, I'm already excited!!

Yeah, losing weight is a tough thing to do. Patience and determination are needed to reach your certain goal. No pain, no gain. It's all worth it once you have reached your targeted weight. Keep going!0

i guess what i want to say is its easy at first then you have to make some damn adjustments just to keep losing. never give up. find ways that work. keep going strong and you will get what you want!0

I lost 50pds in 2012, struggled though 2013, and have gained about 30 pds back. Trying to get back at it. I was with 20pds of my goal and some how lost track. Where are y'all finding the weight tracker bars every one is posting?0

Fantastic progress! You are on a roll, keep going. This is very inspirational for me, as I lost 23 lbs early in 2013 and have gained it all back this winter so I am starting from scratch again!0
