    Southern Butter Pecan or Caramel Apple Pie from Talenti

    Phish Food, Half Baked and Oatmeal Cookie Chunk from Ben & Jerrys

    But nothing beats frozen custard back home from Ted Drewes, but I'm not sure frozen custard is allowed in this discussion. Or gelato for that matter.

    Can't pick one favorite.

    Right now I'm eating a lot of Edy's French silk (for lower calorie nights), Talenti Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, B&J Phish Food or Karmel Sutra (but I mostly love the caramel side, I can take or leave the chocolate side), and Bluebell Cookies n cream.

    I LOVE Ice Cream and even though it "technically" isn't ice cream, Raspberry Fudge Chunk is my favorite.

    Being from Texas I grew up singing this song:

    blue bell homemade ice cream, it's the icing on the cake.

    its the tip of the top, the cream of the crop, like having your own ice cream shop

    bluebell homemade ice cream, it's homemade country style

    and bluebell, is better by a country smile.

    To answer the question, my favorite is chocolate. But on my banana split I take all vanillas topped with chocolate syrup. So good.

    I know this feel. I can get some here but it's just the basic flavors. Chocolate, vanilla, and cookies n cream (for some reason).

    I just bought kroger's private selection sea salt caramel. OMG. It has moved phish food to second place.

    well, i just sampled the B&J pumpkin cheesecake and it is good...

    However i quickly lost interest after i tasted Talenti's Caramel Apple Pie Gelato :love: :love: :love:

    YUM, I love ice cream. So while I normally never say "Hey, come to Columbus". If you do, stop by Jeni's Ice Cream, it is the best. My favorite is the Goat Cheese with Red Cherries. My daughter loves the Wildberry Lavender. But I suggest go and sample all the flavors, you'd be amazed at what taste good even though it sounds not so great.

    I love Grape Nut ice cream made by Guifords of Maine or Acushnet Creamery (local) and Mint Chocolate Chip is a close second.

    Store bought? Chocolate Chip.

    Homemade? My wife makes Blueberry Vanilla. Picks the blueberries from our bushes and freezes them, so they remain whole when she folds them into the homemade vanilla ice cream.

    Damn. Just thinking about it is making my tongue hard.

    When we go out for gelato in Rome at Giollitti's they have over 50 flavors. I usually get a small cone with pistacchio, cinnamon and raspberry--hold the whipped cream. The best!:love:
