My bum is sharp:(

I have lost my butt from running and now can't sit on an air mattress or water bed for fear of puncturing it :p

Any suggestions other than squats to build up some bum muscle? Everyone says do squats and i have been (no weights....my only option is stuff i can do at home without equipment) but i have an issue with my right pelvis being stuck out of place and i've been noticing my whole hip and pelvis area on that side has been getting more and more sore the longer i've been doing the squats and is starting to feel like its grinding with every one i do so its time to chill on that. Any other suggestions?

    ^This.
    Also:
Donkey kicks (with weights if you have a machine)
    weighted step-ups with knee lift
hamstring glute raise (If you can do hamstring glute raises without feeling like your whole *kitten* is on fire, then your butt shouldn't be sharp or saggy)
    Good mornings

Also, if you like to run, sprint drills will help develop it because you use your posterior for explosive maneuvers more.

The magic of extreme weight loss coupled with loose skin that does not wish to tighten. So I have hangy wrinkly skin with just a touch of subcutaneous fat that droops to the ol' thighs but does nothing to actually pad my bottom when i'm sitting...which literally hurts to do on a hard surface. If it's not a couch or a padded chair, I can't sit on it.....so basically I'm grosser looking AND less comfortable than I was when I was fat....not seeing a lot of win so far. lol.

You may forever be stuck with a sharp bum. I'm stuck with a flat one to the point that I put a towel on the bottom of the bathtub with I have long baths because it irritates my tail bone. I deadlift 2.5xbw and squat 2xbw. Sometimes the build of your body is the build of your body. However, if you're going to get a bouncy bum, squats, deads, lunges etc are one of the best ways to do it.

Good luck on the fluffy bum journey:smile:
