Looking to add previous members of the 300+ club

Background - my starting weight was 333 lbs. at the end of July 2013. My heaviest though was probably 20-30 lbs. heavier than that, maybe more. I was bah-big and for some reason I couldn't see it. I looked in the mirror and I filtered out how big I was.

Anyway, long story short I started portion control and exercising, adapting my routine and diet as I went along. I did a stint on a purely vegetarian diet to shake myself out of a plateau at 290 lbs. and then went back to a more balanced diet once I pushed through the plateau.

Which brings me to the point. I am tempted to add all the pretty girls on this site as friends, but the better part of me tells me that that is just plain silly. What I need are people who have faced the same challenge that I have, going from 300+ to a healthier lifestyle and weight, and then successfully shaped their new lives around a routine that maintains and builds on what they've achieved.

So, if you're a former 300+ member, add me. Having trouble figuring out how to secure your gains (aka losses)? Add me. Living it and doing it? Add me. Single, female, and hot... Okay, you can add me too.

I was posting prolifically on FB, using my FB friends list as an accountability group, but I've reached a point where I don't just want "encouragement" anymore. I want feedback from people who have been there, done that and I want to see what other people are doing that works. MFP works well for this.

I want to stay motivated beyond achieving my goal weight. Reaching my goal weight is moderated by my desire to also gain muscle mass and achieve a level of "sexy" I haven't had since I was in my late teens and early 20's. I've read a lot of stories here and elsewhere of people who have done what I've done so far and more, who have then fallen off the wagon. I'm interested in staying on this wagon.

Add me. Or don't. Include a story about your challenges and success in doing the same.
