Are you eating at a caloric deficit? It's hard to gain actual new muscle if you are eating to lose weight.0

compare a before and after picture of the same muscle...that should tell you all you need to know0

You aren't going to gain a visually noticeable amount of muscle in 1 month even if you are doing the right things especially if you aren't at like 12% bodyfat where the muscle is clearly defined.
Don't buy into workout ads that show people getting completely muscular in a period of 90 days. Not only are those shots likely exaggerated by posing but invariably the people doing that program are people who are hugely muscular and just had a little covering of fat that they managed to lose in that amount of time.
You can lose fat noticeably over the period of a few months but you aren't going to be packing on muscle noticeably in that same amount of time especially trying to do both at once.
You want to look like you have larger muscles? Lose the fat that is covering them, then they will look more defined. You don't care about aesthetics and instead just want to be stronger? Then work on being stronger and ignore what it looks like.0
