Whole wheat homemade bread?

my mom makes delicious homemade bread and loves making Iowa state fair blue ribbon whole wheat bread. I was just wondering if this is healthy to eat a slice for breakfast? I know bread isn't always healthy for you, but is homemade whole wheat bread okay? I thought maybe eating it for breakfast once a week would be okay, and have oatmeal the rest of the week.

Moderation is the key and it sounds like you have it figured out! Enjoy the bread!0

If you're generally fit and healthy, I wouldn't worry about the type of carbs you have.0
