need help getting over hump,

I have been stuck on 23lbs weight loss of about 21/2 weeks. I alternate workouts between Jillian Michaels 30 shred and beach body. 30 day shred is 20 min (intense) beach body is 30 min easier. after posting all I ate today I still have 709 unused calories. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG, do I need to stop exercising I need help Ij did 45 min today with beach body .

    Congrats on your 23 lb loss! That's awesome.

    First off don't stop exercising! How on earth would that make you lose more weight? Are you overestimating your burned calories maybe? How are you logging the DVD 's?
  • thank you for getting back to me , if I do beach body it is 45 min=302 calories burned aerobics low impact If I do Jillian Michaels I put in 15 min of strength training=60 calories burned. I know that these are probably not right, jillian michaels is cardio, strength, and abs, I is 3- 6 minute circuits. Beach body is 45 min with resistance bands . I truly don't know how to log either one of these workouts in.

    Fitclick.com has workout dvd calories burned and it lets you input your height and weight to see how many calories you'd burn doing a specific workout dvd.

    Open your diary for personalized advice.

    You may be underestimating your food & overestimating your burns. Log everything you eat & drink accurately & honestly. Weigh your food. Eat back half your exercise calories.
