Any Other Zero calorie drinks besides Colas?

I'm looking for an alternative besides Coke Zero and Pepsi Max with zero or almost zero that I can just drink mindlessly, because they are destroying my teeth, of course there's water and green tea, I drink that also, but it's isn't great for entertainment purposes.

Anything in between like orange juice I stay far away from because I believe they are too high in calories if drunk in large amounts.

Crystal Light mixes are my go-to when I'm avoiding sodas. I usually get the H2O brand from Brookshires and there are others but that's what I would suggest if you want something besides straight water.

Sparkling Flavored Waters are fantastic like Fruitwater or Sparkling Ice. It's got that fizziness to it that will remind you of soda. Also, Vitamin Water Zero is great.

Glaceau Vitamin Water Zero's are great. I prefer the "Glow" flavor, but there are MANY to choose from. :)

I tried a few Mio flavors, but the aftertaste was too much for me.
I enjoy Glaceau Fruitwater and the other similar items, like Sparkling ICE. They have a slight carbonation and decent flavor. Only problem is, they are a little too expensive to buy all the time (as compared to a 12-pack of Coke), so I buy them as a treat.

    soda water.

i gave up sodas and diet sodas and it has been a great choice.
  • Crystal Light is good, and also that wal-mart brand lemonade is only 5 cal. I have been drinking unsweet tea, and the other day, after weeks of no sweet drinks, I put Splenda in my tea and it was SO sweet and delicious!
  • I enjoy the sparkling ice, they have gas and green tea extract 0 everything and awesome flavors.

Why are they destroying your teeth? There's no sugar in them; that's what causes the tooth decay.

Walmart has flavored water. They have tons of flavors for $0.68. And some of the flavors come in 2ltrs for $0.98. And poweraid comes in zero calories($0.88 at walmart). And some of the sobe life waters have zero. The one I really like only has 10 for the whole bottle (normaly on sale for $1 at walmart)!

Agreed with canadjineh! Any fruit-flavoured herbal tea, chilled and served over ice, is great. Especially if you like 'sweet' tasting fruity drinks... but they are sugar-free and calorie-free. I love the berry and peach flavours best.

Black tea, green tea, white tea. Rooibos tea, sometimes called 'red' tea. It's caffeine free and very yummy.

    Black coffee.

Club soda/sparkling water. I drink this all day at work. The carbonation makes them feel so refreshing.

Water. At every meal I have one glass of water to help my stomach feel 'fuller'. I try to have several more throughout the day and evening. I never used to drink much water, but now it's become a habit.

I use Mio in water for a zero carb drink. I also squirt some Cherry flavored Mio into Diet Coke/Pepsi to turn it into Diet Cherry Coke/Pepsi. A nice change when out since most places don't sell Diet Cherry Cola (though you can get it in grocery stores). But if you don't want to drink diet soda, I assume carbonated water affecting teeth, you can drink different teas. Otherwise I often just drink plain water which is cheapest and best.

The carbonation is the true problem, which is present in all sodas, not just diet sodas.

My go-to daily drink is Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice herbal tea which has a slightly sweet and spicy flavor. I make a big batch in the morning with several tea bags and only a small amount of boiling water. Throughout the day, as wanted, just add cold or hot water, and dilute to taste.

For a low, but not zero, calorie drink which has some health benefits, I drink kombucha, which is a slightly fizzy, slightly sweet, slightly apple ciderish tasting beverage that you can purchase or make at home. It is basically a diluted sweet tea that has had a scoby added in order to ferment. You can google for more details.

Information on the topic of teeth is very confusing. I have seen a lot of information telling me that diet drinks do have a higher pH than usual (here is one source, http://www.greathealth247.com/ph-acid-alkaline-food-chart.html). On the other hand, why then are artificial sweeteners used in tooth paste? Well... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2099426/... this article shows that it is fluoride that makes toothpaste slightly more alkaline than water (which is ph 7, the only balanced alkaline vs acidic drink). Not all brands use the same amount of fluoride and depending on how you use the product you may not even succeed in reducing mouth acidity. Yikes! This is why mouthwash is so important XD

I've been drink a lot of diet soda for nearly 2 years now, and last year when I went to the dentist I was told my teeth were in terrible condition. I went to other (cheaper) dentists for quick check ups and they said that upon initial inspection my teeth were fine but x-rays showed bad decay and that I needed work done ASAP... whoops. That was nearly a year ago. I spent a thousand dollars to find this out with no results so you can see why I don't want to approach another dentist.

Sigh... what am I going to do with my teeth...

In the UK we get a range of 'zero' drinks - fanta zero etc.
Not that the normal 'diet' ones are usually low enough in calories that I don't worry about it.
The "no added sugar" pink lemonade I have sitting here is 5 kc per 100ml - so if I drank the whole 2l bottle I'd be hitting a whole 50 calories from that.

Coke zero is around 3.5ph, normal coke 2.6.
As a comparison, lemon juice can be around 2 and grarefruit juice 3, with orange juice similar to coke zero.

OP, not long ago you created a few threads about losing too much weight, too fast. why are you so concerned about zero calorie beverages?

I buy the cases of sugar-free flavored water at Aldi. They come in a flavor assortment. You can get brands such as Fruit 2-0 or Adirondack at grocery stores.

Try the 10 calorie diet sodas. They have a little sugar and taste decent. 7 up and dr pepper are two of the flavors. Propel zero has different flavors and main ingredient is water. its a sports drink.
