Just want to make sure I am eating enough/not too much

Hey guys for about a week I have been doing 30-40 miles a day on my fitness bike.

Today I took in 2310 in food and burned 1326 with exercise. I can't help feeling like I am eating way too much but I mean, I guess if I bike 40 miles that is a normal amount? MFP says I will lose 10lbs in 5 weeks, that is a good sustainable steady rate right? I want to do it right this time and make sure I am eating enough so I don't give up.

    2310 - 1000 = 1310 ..... That's not a lot is it?

I can easily eat 2310 every day. You could probably even eat more!

Do you feel hungry? You eating enough protein?

Work out your BMR + TDEE - Then you will know how many calories to eat, to lose etc!!

Well done on your exercise though : )
  • he asked my goal weight. 135 is my goal. I am 164 now

Thanks! I have my BMI but what is TDEE?

I don't feel hungry at all and am eating tons of protein. I make lentil/quinoa/chickpea stews and stuff like that. And generally have quite a few servings. I also have nuts for snacks.

Thanks for giving me something to compare my intake too. I guess it just feels like a lot because I used to be a couch potato and now being active my body wants/needs so much more. :P
