    I was thinking about getting a FitBit... is it worth it?
    I have a fitbit force and have had it for many months. I like the fact it tracks all day and night. I don't like the band. I don't like that it isn't water proof and I don't like it doesn't do heart rate so I have to use a Garmin.

    THAT being said I am not disappointed I bought it when I did BUT there are so many options out now. CES (Comsumer Elec Show) had over a dozen new models released.

    Hi all, I'm also new with fitbit flex!!! Can anyone help with this question... I just walked 3.4km and accoring to STRAVA (an app i use to track calories burnt) it says i burnt 384 cal. Fitbit however said i burnt 52 calories. I'm sweating from head to toe and drink 600 ml of water throught the walk....so what do i believe? fitbit or strava?

    Go ahead and type in what your HRM said. At first fitbit will take away some of those calories in an adjustment on your daily diary, but if you continue to move around more than you have your daily activity level set in MFP, it will give them back. If not, it will penalize you the calories which you set your profile up to believe you were going to burn (the baseline that MFP uses to calculate how many calories you need each day) and didn't.

    Another question: How do I get my flex to sync to MFP? I have it installed but it doesnt seem to track anything. Anyone else have this problem?

Hate that it won't sync to my phone because I would like constant feedback to see how I am doing since the flex shows you nothing on the band. I linked my fitbit account with MFP, I see the food log calories transfer over but on my dashboard it does not incorporate the calories consumed into the graph. If anyone has any tips on how I can get the most out of this item, I appreciate it.

    Also, there is an activity group at Fitbit.com that is for My Fitness Pal users. Just go to Community, choose Activity Groups then type My Fitness Pal into the search function. It should come right up!

    I'd love some fitbit friends! Even though I work out most days, I was absolutely amazed at how LITTLE walking I do unless I push myself.

    I like it simply because it keeps me moving! I dont eat back the calories from my fitbit at all. As for your phone, did you download the app? I only log water through the Fitbit app because its easier than MFP.

    Also when you tap your band twice the lights should light up, each light = 20% of your step goal.

    Thanks, yes I downloaded the app. It doesnt sync because my phone is not compatible. I had to upgrade to the Galaxy 3. Its on order.....lol
