Since Feb 20th I've lost 24 pounds. In the last wk in a half I've not lost anything at all. I count calories I try and stay around 900 and I work out 45 mins of cardio everyday and 30 mins of strength training. I've know increased my workout to twice a day doing same thing and still nothing Helppp

Weight loss is not linear. It's not uncommon to see no loss on the scale for a week or two while they body is adjusting, especially when paired with an increase in your exercise routine. Exercise causes the body to hold onto extra water in the muscles to help cushion and repair them, which can mask any fat loss that's happening in the background.

When you switched to two workouts a day your body held onto some water weight, which caused the stall on the scale.

You need some help OP.... physically, and mentally it seems.

No one here is belittling you. Quite the opposite actually. You have a bunch of strangers here concerned for your health which in no way shows belittlement.

I wish you the best of luck in finding a better you.

If you are only eating 900 calories a day and then exercising, your food deficit is way too low for your body to sustain for any length of time. It will eventually shut down your kidneys and cause serious health issues if you continue on like this. It is possible to fuel your body and still lose weight, the healthy way. People, let's back the truck up a bit, shall we?

Tasha, I am reading through the responses, and I agree that there is one individual in particular that got a little hostile awfully fast. We are all here for the same reason, and I can see how when someone makes a move to reach out for help, we can be sensitive to the responses we receive. Some of those answers at first glance could easily put you on the defensive. But there is also some very well-intentioned advice borne from the experiences of others. Try to focus on those. Maybe take a walk and clear out the bad vibes, then come back and re-read them. And don't let one bad apple deter you from seeking out the information and help you are looking for. There are a lot of good people on this site who truly want to be helpful and supportive. Good luck, and don't give up!:flowerforyou:

Hi, sorry you didn't find what you needed to here. However, what you're doing to your body will hurt you. When I was 13, I would eat about 500-800 calories a day because I wanted to be skinny. I did lose weight, but I gained it all back and then some by the time I was 15. You cannot do this for the rest of your life, because your body needs more food. You'll eventually get sick of it and end up binging.
    Please, it's not worth it.
