Reduce sodium (give up cokes, etc.).
Drink lots of water--with a squirt of fruit juice--say, lemon--if you need a flavored beverage.
Eat your lean protien.
Eat your whole grains.
Eat your healthy fats (mono and polyunsaturated) and try to reduce your saturated fats (those that are solid at room temperature).
Discover them many ways that you can prepare veggies and fruits and try to season them without using salt (ever had curry on your meats and veggies? Deliscious and healthy.)
Find a dog to walk. Find a child to play tag with. Jump rope. Push someone on a swing. Take upwater exercising, walking, yoga, or whatever floats your boat!
This can be lots of fun--my grandson keeps me going with "tickle races."
