I just got a burrito bowl at chipotle. Then I tried to figure out how many "ounces" of rice, beans, veggies, etc were the bowl. I had one scoop of rice, instead of the usual 2. How many oz is that? Help help! Thanks!

  • I saw that, but are the oz listed there the proper amounts that actually go into the burritos?

You know how nutritional information for a 20 oz thing of soda lists the amount per serving - not total for the whole bottle (even though there's like 2.5 servings per total bottle)? Are those the actual serving sizes for a burrito, or does more go in?

chipotlefan.com has a build your ____ function... it rules... chipotles sodium content, however, does not. <3

I like this site, it's a calculator so you can select all your ingrediants, I think it is pretty accurate, but I don't know the answer about oz. in a scoop, sorry:

I love chipotle, I ate there on Sunday-chicken tacos, yum!
  • It's been awhile since I've eaten at Chipotle so I can't picture their laddle sizes... but I worked at a restaurant before and they typically either 1/4, 1/2 or 1 cup laddles. Sorry, that probably isn't any help. :/
  • I eat Qdoba burrtio bowls.. mine include black beans, rice, steak, salsa verde, sour cream, cheese = 700 calories.. without rice its 435.

There is no scientific merit behind this observation, but in my personal opinion, the meat quality at Qdoba seems to be a little better than Chipotle... but when I go to either (or wahoo's) I get a salad with beef or chicken (no tostada) and just loads of pico de gallo... works out to around 300 cals for the beef, a little less for the chicken... sometimes if I have room In my calories I'll add a touch of guacamole (so good).

But to answer your previous question, I do believe it is an approximately 3.5 oz scoop (assuming it isn't rounded or over flowing.
